PS5 Plex App not working after Hub5 upgrade

SOLUTION: The Hub5 is the issue. VM engineer came out and swapped for a brand new hub5 - same issue. Then changed to a Hub4 and it worked instantly. Also for anyone that wants to know and is using OpenReach via EE, their new WiFi 6 Smart Hub SH31B works with Plex for both LAN and remote after portforwarding.

Hello all, I’m very lost with this. I have found posts with similar issues to myself but none of the solutions are working for me.

I realise numerous posts have been made about this(sorry) - none of those solutions worked for me.

My PMS can be accessed remotely - just not on the same LAN, the PS5 is the only app I watch it on besides occasionally on my desktop which hosts the PMS.

The ONLY thing I haven’t tried is modem mode on the router because we need the WiFi active, modem mode is a no-go for us unfortunately, getting another router to link up isn’t an option at this point.

The priavte IP is the same, the subnet is the same(255.255.255.0 or /24), port 32400 has been automatically forwarded by UPnP on the Hub5, exactly the same as the hub 3. I’ve tried changing the DNS on the PS5 to 1.1.1.1, then primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4 to no avail.

My dad streams my content and he has no issues, just me on the LAN with the PS5 app.

Worked fine with the hub3 and the setup appears identical on the hub5 but it just won’t let me access my library.

Sometimes it says the connection to the PMS is indirect, other times it says it’s offline entirely.

EDIT: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PS5 Plex app too, no change.

When it shows as indirect it shows my content on the screen as normal, however when I click it, it just buffers constantly and never actually plays with a message in the top right corner of the screen saying “checking connection speed to server” or similar.

I’m flummoxed - fully reset the router too now, still nothing.

EDIT2: Turns out the Hub5 appears to be the issue, I can’t connect with any device on my LAN - only remotely. The settings are the same as the Hub3 so I really do not understand this. Anyone with experience with the Hub5 from Virgin Media?
