This might only be objious for those adding content but said I’d mention it anyhow.
Do the following…
- open plexamp (android) and select the library tab (second from left). Take note of the artist/album count.
- now on your plex server add a album or artist to the server. Match it and ensure it appears okay via the webui
- now go back to plexamp and try and find the album you added on the library tab
Result:
You can’t and the count does not increase.
Reason is that library tab in the plexamp client does not refresh. You can goto the home tab you can pull refresh to get the new content to update. However, there is no pull refreshed on the library tab.
Would be nice to add a pull refresh.
Workaround:
Force quit plexamp and start it again. That’ll force a refresh of the library tab and new content can be found with the counter updated.
BTW… Its worth noting that I’ve raised a few plexamp topics recently. Overall, I’m enjoying the client but as I see things which I think could be improved upon I’m rising them. So don’t take it as overall negative feedback.
