My friend shared his Plex music library with me. I can see it (and listen to it) on my server, Plex clients, and Plex iOS app, but it’s not available in the Sources section of Plexamp. What am I missing?
Might just need a refresh? Double check it’s not there as I believe it refreshes the sources every time you visit but the results aren’t visible until the next time.
I’m not quite sure how to refresh it beyond swiping the app closed and reloading. Pull down refresh method doesn’t seem to be available on Plex Amp sources screen. Is there some setting I’m missing? Again, this source shows on the normal Plex app so it’s “working” in general.
OK, I just uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it’s working. The ultimate refresh!
definitely should not have been needed. every time you enter the sources screen it reloads so there are a few possibilities: 1) you were signed into a separate account 2) there was caching in the cloud. reinstall should never be needed, but glad it worked.
