Put back Start From Beginning from the resume button

For the life of me I don’t know why starting a movie from the beginning has been buried in the “…” menu if the item is partially watched. You had the ideal solution previously having it as an option when the resume button was pressed, and if you really did want to resume a quick second click did so. Ease of use and it was easily discoverable by tech-phobic family members.

Now, if a movie is left unfinished, if you don’t go to the “…” menu, you have to rewind the movie like we’re watching VHS tapes again. It is objectively a worse user experience to save someone who wants to resume a movie a single click. Yet you’ll clog the movie detail screens with comparatively useless social features.

Once again, minimalism for the sake of minimalism wins out over features and usability.

PS - Still waiting for directors to be added back to the movie detail page, genres added back to the TV show detail screen.

You can long press on the movie poster on home screen or library views before even going to the details page and that will be the second option.

Not saying what you are asking won’t be done, just not sure if you knew.

Yup, thats generally what I use. It’s not really the solution I think the app needs for this issue. This more a concern for usability for others, not myself.
