QNAP support Port Trunking, BUT you have to have a switch that supports 802.3ad (LACP) for that to actually be a benefit. Further more that ONLY helps if you have multiple clients hitting the NAS as the same time AND are exceeding the 1Gb in combined BW.
For the AVERAGE home user, it is both unneeded and there NW configuration generally doesn’t support the capabilities required to fully utilize it.
Improperly done (most cases) it will actually cause more problems than anything else.
