I’ve been submitting the “Reporting Gracenote EPG Data Issues” form every few days to report that Quest KSDK 5.4 St. Louis is missing. It went on the air on January 29th, but still hasn’t been added. The form is obviously useless and a waste of time, so what needs to happen to get this channel added?

Nothing but patience, I suspect.
On February 1st KMOZ 4.2 changed their affiliation from METV to COZI TV, and KNLC 24.1 changed from H&I to METV. Those changes went through the same day in the guide. And yet Quest hasn’t been added 16 days later, something doesn’t add up.
“We ask that you do not contact Gracenote directly about EPG Data issues.”
Looks like I’m going to have to.
If I recall, station adds always took guide data providers longer (back in the SageTV glory days) to get to than affiliate changes… don’t know why.
Titan TV had Quest on day 1.
I’m not aware of any DVR platform that uses TitanTV as a source for their program guide.

The point is it isn’t difficult to update the data. Someone somewhere has really dropped the ball.
And the point I made is that the kind of wait time you’re experiencing is not unusual in my experience.
I’m not saying it’s unusual, just unreasonable.
