I just got an email from Plex with the subject “Your media is getting dusty. No worries, you can still play on a tonof devices!”. The body of the email says “We noticed you haven’t been playing a lot of media lately. No worries…”.
My first question is, how would Plex know if I’ve been playing anything or not? My second question is, why am I getting this message because I play probably 4-5 videos on Plex daily on a variety of devices. So whatever they’re using to track usage is not working in my case.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that you don’t have a Plex Cloud account. If you have a Plex Pass, then I’m sure you have a Plex Cloud server, even if you don’t use it.
