So for example farscape it was 5 seasons with a movie to finish it off, Would love to have the movie to be able to be played from the fargo shows section, Tried adding it into a another season 5 that they never made and did a rescan and never showed up.
Yes I know I can just add the movie part into the movies folder but would be nice to have it grouped up with the show section some how for it.
This would be a good feature to have. The TV series Babylon does also have this problem.
I also believe that Stargate have some.

Just follow the naming convention like it was a TV episode. If you want it at the end of season 5 and season 5 has 10 episodes. Name the file. Farscape S05E11.mkv to be at the end. You will need to add your own metadata after scanning it it
For example Battlestar Galactica has a miniseries to start before season 1. But I don’t want it in specials because I would need to remember to go into specials. I have the miniseries as a single file. So I named the file Battlestar Galactica S01E00.mkv ans is show up at the start of season 1.
I don’t watch Farscape but TVDB seems to have the movie as two episodes of season 5 so it will get metadata. if you have them as a single file just name it Farscape S05E01,mkv https://www.thetvdb.com/series/farscape/seasons/5
You can of course add a movie and tvshows in the same collection as well but for my purposes renaming works out better.
… and all 3 shows have the same solution which is go to TVDB and name your stuff like they have it and it’ll work fine.

@BigWheel needs to expand his viewing experience (step away from the Anime) by watching one of the greatest Live Action (with real people) Sci-Fi TV Shows ever made - cancelled to make room for Pro-Wrestling (not real - like Anime) - but Farscape’s “Movies” are actually 2 episodes in Season 05, as previously mentioned and easily found at TVDB.
All of these episodes are also listed at TMDB as Movies, so of course you can do whatever you want, but the best thing about sticking them in TV Show Specials is that when named and matched properly they will play from On Deck at the exact time they’re called for in the sequence, cause with that match comes an Air Date. On Deck knows exactly how to deal with Air Dates.
Also, with the exception of the Stargate SG-1 Movies (still a stretch), none of them really stand on their own as movies, 'cause if you walked in cold (direct from Anime) you wouldn’t have a clue how you got where you are from where you where.
