Question about plugins

Hello,

 

i want to make a plugin that works with the pihlips Hue system. So that if you start a movie the lights change the color (or dim). So is it posible tomake a plugin that works with a playing film? Like if you set pause the movie, the light go be lighter then when you play a moivie?  like the XBMC app?

Have you got news on this ?

I saw there is an xbmc add-on for this, but I don't know how to tranfert it to plex.
