I’ve read through these 14 pages (Starting to understand the Team’s priorities) - and I can just say wow. I’m a lifetime subscriber, and yes - I’m happy with Plex even though it has it’s quirks and bugs.
Instead on commenting on what I need/want (rarely do) - i’ll try to come up with a suggestion instead.
From what i have read - the most commented feature is collections. This has to be implemented in X platforms. So why not use the existing UI - if possible? @elan i have a question. Can the Plex code handle where “not” filters? If it does, could this possible be a valid option?
What if a Collection (smart list) was a set of filters, where each filter item could be: Include, Exclude or not selected? Possible filtertype changes on each click on the item/title. This could possibly only be visible in PlexWeb as a start. But filters would be working on each client. I think this would work on any section type (movies, photos, music etc.). Correct me if I’m wrong =)
I know there are more to it than just selecting filters ex. Naming collection etc. No need to suggest if it isn’t possible.
EDIT: Or even allow/enable multiple filters per search with exclude. Then it would “just” be saving these filters as an collection.
