Questions about Arcade

Server Version#:4.52.2
Player Version#:. I subscribed to Arcade but It said the cost would be 2.99 dollars a month but when i signed up it charged me $4.99.On top of that I have not had much luck setting it up. I am interested in hosting some games for my kids and a few friends. The z820 should have plenty of power but I have some question.
Does each person that wants to play a game have to pay per month? Can I host old Atari games like river raid and donkey kong? What all platforms will the Arcade emulate? I am very interested in the older games as I am 61 and played them oftenn.Atari 2600/5200 SNES Commofdore 64, Amiga??
What are the bandwidth requirements? How does it install along with my PMS? Can it be hosted on a PMS running on Linux? Currently Im running on Windows 10 but was thinking of changing to Linux, due to Microshaft’s constant updating. Also off topic but Is there a list of Public Plex Media Servers?

Thanks in advance,

Dusty

the subscription is per user, yes.

i haven’t tried those games specifically, but in theory they should work.

have a look at this thread Plex Arcade - Working Core Tracker which lists the platforms and cores which are working well. we don’t have support (yet, at least) for C64 or Amiga.

Fairly light (a few MBps), depends on game of course.

It’s part of the media server.

Only macOS and Windows servers at the moment.
