When a TV Show doesn’t grab the subtitles on the first try for me using opensubtitles.org. I often have to drop the entire TV Show folder out of the Plex directories and “update library”. Then add it back in and “update library” again sometimes multiple times to get the subtitles to come down. I’m asking for a quick way to force the certain show or movie to look for subtitles without going thru this process. Perhaps in the drop down options that already appear for each show or movie? Also, I have my elderly mother who watches shows using her tablet to cast shows/movies. Can it be setup to have subtitles be default on the client side so for instance her ipad will default subtitles and the other tablets and phones can be set to manual? this would be very convenient and makes more sense to me to have that option be a client based option instead of server based.
Let me know if there is something already in place that I am missing to address any of the issues above.
