I use an android tablet to cast my PMS to my TV via Chromecast. When no content is streaming from my PMS and the homescreen is on, it used to randomly select background images to cycle through from my selected libraries. Recently I started seeing the same images from the same library all the time. If anyone knows, please let me know if this a recent change, or if there is a way to make the homescreen images return to random play of my background images. THANKS!
Yes, I’m having the same issue. I have 5 libraries, and now it’s just cycling the first of the five. It’s a very small library, so the same handful of images appear over and over.
It’s not a big deal. But it seems like a bug anyway.
I’m running Plex on a Synology box.
