Randomized Playlist & Plexamp download behavior

I have a playlist that has ~4 days of music according to Plexamp. Since I normally listen to this playlist on random (While driving), it isn’t a big deal if I sync, let’s say, 4 or 8 hours worth of music down to my phone. However, since I listen to the playlist on random, it winds up playing tracks that it hasn’t synced down anyway, causing it to chew through my data.

Anyone have any recommendations? Judging from other threads and replies by Plex employees in it, doesn’t seem like the ability to sync an entire playlist to your phone will come soon, if ever. That’s fine, but it leaves people like me out to dry.

we’ll likely be enhancing in the future to allow larger playlists to sync. if you want to avoid munching data, play the downloaded one from that tab.
