Raspi-copies-and-fills bug

Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: na

Seems like my sd card may have been bit by the raspi-copies-and-fills bug that went out on updates posted 3/11/2019. No new movies will show up in the database and some of my TV shows all display negative large numbers in the upper right corner of the poster display. The bug is discussed here https://www.cnx-software.com/2019/03/13/raspberry-pi-suddenly-not-working-repair-microsd-card/

Is anyone else experiencing this problem and if so any suggestions on fixes. I tried the e2fsck mentioned at the link but it warned me that I ‘would corrupt’ the filesystem if I continued so I didn’t.

Fix here: Plex server suddenly not starting on Raspberry Pi after crashed update

Thanks, that fixes the bad counts. It does not solve the new movies not getting added to the database issue. This problem is happening on two pi systems, identical symptoms. I am doing a refresh scan of the library to see if that solves it, so far though no go (but it takes a day to finish so we’ll see.)

Don’t know about that. My only issue after the raspi-copies-and-fills update was the server not being found. New movies are being added fine on my system, now, so don’t know if it’s related.

OK, I tried repairing the database using the instructions here https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/?_ga=2.68242833.1463007574.1552527314-709648762.1517427104

That did not help. I then decided to move the two movies that plex refuses to ‘add’ to the database out of the library path and then rescan the library (my theory being that would remove any bad entries in any of the tables for those movies). Once that scan ended, I moved the movies back to the library path and I could see a scan start up. Viola, that worked. Both movies got detected and added to the database.
