Metadata Scanning seems broken - Please help me

Firstly apologies if this is the wrong place, a simple redirection is fine if it can lead me to the solution. I did do a bit of searching first but to no avail :frowning:

I have a Linux based Plex Media Server running via Raspberry Pi.
It suddenly crashed. This is not a complete suprise, over the two years I have had it, I have occasionally rebuilt the server starting with a fresh flash of the OS.

This time it does not seem possible to fix the issue. I have tried it many times and am seeing the same problem over and over - please help!

When I add a library, I first see it detect all the individual files as per normal but then it goes loopy. For instance my current Movie library of 800+ titles is being listed as having 754 versions of 12 years a Slave. Of course they are all labelled to Plex’s guidelines and it previously worked without issue.

The whole thing is also seemingly very unstable.

What should I do…

Okay…it’s likely this -
