I have a new Pi3. I got a kit from CanaKit that includes everything. I can install the recommended Rasbian os just fine. When I try to image the SD card (after first deleting all the partitions created during the Rasbian install) when I boot the Pi I get the colored splash/intro screen, a lightning bolt in the top right corner and then nothing. I’ve tried imaging the SD card multiple times and multiple ways. Any ideas would be welcome.
Thank you, Mike
First note that RasPlex is not Plex Media Player; it’s OpenPHT which is a community project and not officially supported by Plex.
Support for the RPi 3 requires a recent version of LibreELEC (the operating system). For LibreELEC, 8.2.5 is the current latest stable and 8.2.4 is the minimum needed for RPi3. LibreELEC 8.2.4 was released on March 14, 2018. The version of RasPlex you referenced was built on Mar 20, 2017, so it cannot have the required version of LibreELEC. This is the most recent version of RasPlex.
