RasPlex issues on a Pi3

Hopefully one of you can point me in the right direction. I have a Pi3 which I thought would run RasPlex just fine. However it gets stuck on the rainbow square and goes no further.
I have tried kodi and the Raspbian and there fine. I have tried downloading the image again but the same thing happens.

Put me out of my misery. Let me know your thoughts.
P.S I downloaded a 1.6 image and had the same result.

Make sure you’re using the rPi2 image version. rPi2 and rPi3 use the same OpenPHT/Rasplex image version.

All fixed, I used to binary to write my sdcard and now its fine apart from playing multi-part videos.

That’s a known issue. We’re looking into it for the next bug fix release.
