RasPlex Mobile Media Server - similar to Plex for iOS 3.1 ?

I understand that RasPlex is the plex client, and not the media server, but is it still able to "sync" content to local storage as other clients?

 

Can it share this sync'd content with other plex clients via the Mobile Media Server feature that was recently added to the  iOS plex app?

 

Still waiting for my Pi to try this all out.

AFAICT the version running on the Pi is the desktop win/mac client version, recompiled for linux, not the iOS version. And the Sync feature seems to only be present on the iOS/Android versions.
