At first sorry for my bad english 
I installed rasplex on my raspi. I enable the remote control of this client bye other devices.
But it doesn’t work.
I also installed the plex client on my windows pc (where the server is also installed on) and this works well!
I’m looking for a movie in my database via ios app and start streaming on the windows plex client (stand alone - no windows 8 app!).
My ios plex app recognized the windows client fast and without any problem.
What been i’m doing wrong with the plex client on raspi? The streaming via menu, controlled by tv remote, works well.
I have the same problem.
Rasplex current version installed and the latest ios app. Playing media via remote control on the ios app does not work. When I try to use the plex server on the PC to play media on the pi, the server returns an error saying that the selected player in not supported for playback.
Seems to me that Plex have abandoned support for the Pi.
Any suggestions most welcome otherwise its back to raspbmc for me! Full remote control supported by buy finding a decent player for DLNA source for ios is difficult. There nothing that look as good as Plex.
RasPlex "current" == 0.4rc3 or 0.3? This should be working in the 0.4 release candidate.
And RasPlex isn't a Plex supported product, it is a labour of love by awein, dale.hamel and longchair (as well as quite a few others).
With the new version 0.4rc3 it works well 
and very fast!!!

I have RasPlex working great but was wondering how I use the Plex app on my iphone or ipad to control menus? I feel like it ways too easy to be asking this question but am stumped. Can anyone help me out? I'm not seeing any option to control it from my mobile Plex application.
I'm building this RasPlex for a friend who will be streaming from my server remotely.

Hi, I've seen this issue reported in other Plex forums. Something happened after the HT update that disabled the control feature on Roku box and RasPlex. Here's a link to the thread I mentioned; https://forums.plex.tv/topic/88539-where-have-the-remote-keys-gone/

I like to tease as always, but get ready for some more improvements in that area with next version. And the even next version will have even more goodies in that area :p
