I have a question about the RasPlex player. What does this app play without the need for transcoding?

anything under max. 1920x1080 px resolution, H.264, Level 4.1, 8 bit color depth, max. 4 reference frames should do the trick
of course it supports other codecs as well but check the forum because there are a lot of answears
