RasPlex with Yatse XBMC remote

Hey Guys,

So my favourite android remote app is Yatse.  Ive been using it for ages when i was running PleXBMC instead of RasPlex but for some reason it wont work with RasPlex so ive been having to use another app.

Has anybody got Yatse working with RasPlex?

My current theory is that yatse uses the default xbmc user/pass which has read privaleges not execute.  Unfotunately yatse is stubborna nd if it cna log in it wont let you select a diff user/pass.

When i get home i will try creating the default xbmc user within RasPlex with full permissions and see if that fixes, ill let you all know how it goes.

Thanks

Hey

I haven´t managed to get yatse to work so I am sorry I can´t help you there but I am also interested in it.

Meanwhile (not sure if you know this and that is why I am replying to you) I use the Android app (not the plexpass version) as really simple remote (better then nothing).

I hope that might helps you for now and I think it would be best to ask the developer of yatse to implement the support.

Gday mate,

Thanks for the reply!

Yea i was using the android app for a little bit and still use it as my backup but it doesn't have all the features i desire, i like to have a home screen on my phone dedicated to being a remote with heaps of controls on it.   At the moment im using 'AndMote XBMC' and it works perfectly its just not as feature rich and pretty as yatse.

Ill keep tinkering with yatse when i get time and hopefully it will start working eventually!  :P
