I created a smart playlist with a genre filter and user ratings set to unrated in plexamp. As I have been rating my music in plexamp these ratings are not being synced / updated to my plexserver. Thus my unrated play list is not being synced and instead of just having unrated tracks in my playlist I have both unrated tracks and rated tracks in my playlist. I have restarted my plexserver & plexamp with no success. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Rating should be synced back to your server. We recently confirmed this was working and fixed a few issues around it.
Make sure your downloaded playlist is being refreshed. If the smart playlist isn’t sorted, then Plexamp will take a random sample and won’t automatically refresh.
You can post Plexamp logs if you can reproduce an issue.
Thxs for the info. I will provide logs at a later time. Just as an FYI ratings would sync in the past even when the tracks were not downloaded. Also when rating tracks with other applications like Symfonfium the ratings are also not synced to the server. Logs to follow shortly.
