I added a video file and while the chapter were being generated, I clicked on another page to view my server settings. It stopped the generation of chapter images. How do I force Plex to do it again? removing and readding the file did not help (looks like chapter were kept from before)
Changing the page you are looking at on the web interface should not halt server operations. You don’t have to leave the page open until it’s done processing new content.
Might try using the Analyze command on the item to see if that resolves it.
