Recently added Movies/Tv // mod: limit/specify "recent" period

I have noticed on several forums on of the most annoying aspects of "Recent added movies & Recent added TV is that it keeps growing. Can it be reduced to added in the last week or last 5-10
added or even can be edited by the user.

Configuration item: "Recently added" history length (100-10000) or (days, weeks, years)

I frequently add multiple series and seasons of content to a specific library. This blows out the limit of recently added content. I access Plex via the API to make an external log of changes, but that scan takes place at different intervals(daily, weekly, and monthly). Even on a daily basis, the recent 100 entries is not always enough. Would it be possible to add a configuration item that allows users to specify the history length for recently added items? Interesting. We have different intent. He wants shorter, I want longer. We’d both be content probably with a control of history length; either quantity or time. Good catch.
