I am using Plex to watch my locally stored Movie and TV Show collection on my Sony Bravia TV. I installed the Plex app on the Sony TV and the Plex Server on my home computer where my Movies and TV Shows are located. I am not streaming or using any on-line services for Movies, TV Shows or anything else.
So on the Sony TV I see the “Recently Added” listing for Movies and TV Shows - which lists every Movie/TV Show I have. That is a waste of space and just looks bad. I don’t need or want the Recently Added view/listing.
I would like to remove the “Recently Added” display completely, but it appears that is not possible. Next best is to limit the number of items displayed in Recently Added. FEATURE REQUEST - provide a choice to hide this view or limit the number of items shown.
Is there a way I can limit the number of items shown in Recently Added to the most recent 10 new Movies or TV Show additions? There is no point in having hundreds of Movies and TV Shows on this Recently Added “scroll list” with no useful sort order (I can use the Movie and TV Shows library view to find what I want).
At the very least, I would like to delete all the items in “Recently Added” so at least it is fresh information starting with any new additions.
