Configuration item: "Recently added" history length (100-10000) or (days, weeks, years)

I frequently add multiple series and seasons of content to a specific library. This blows out the limit of recently added content. I access Plex via the API to make an external log of changes, but that scan takes place at different intervals(daily, weekly, and monthly). Even on a daily basis, the recent 100 entries is not always enough. Would it be possible to add a configuration item that allows users to specify the history length for recently added items? The range should probably be 100 …
