Recently Added Photos broken

Hi,

Since the latest upgrades on servers (about few weeks) the recently added photos just displays either the last, or the newest after a browser refresh.

Stranger, on iPhone, on the home, I can see the whole range, on iPAD the same as on safari.

I hope you guys fix it,

Thanks, Horia
Server Version#: 1.22.3.4392
Player Version#: Safari 14.0.3 (16610.4.3.1.7)

The recently added photos on my Fire TV completely disappeared

All the boxes were there across the screen but no pictures, just blank grey boxes

It was one of many problems I had with the new update so I reverted to an earlier version and it fixed it.

I don’t think I’ll have that option in a few days when everyone is forced to the new home screen set-up

Is certainly a server issue, hence Plex team, we appreciate a fix.

Yes my shield is the same way, along with the web

Why would that option be there and not “stick”? Why does the hub no longer exist?

This is a bad decision, the new Plex experience should mediate the personal and cloud based content, and there is nothing more private than our photos.

iOS apps still display the full recently added photos in the hub. The web clients, only show the last photo.

Please fix.

Recently Added in Photos appears on the Plex Server, Roku Client, Android Client and Firestick Client but not on Windows 10 (Chrome) client. Also, I can’t move or get rid of the Recent Channels or On Now hubs.

Thank you Plex for fixing!

Community: this works well now with the latest beta server on all my devices.

First they took the Photo Syncing functionality away and now this. What’s the point?

There were three types of media we cared, pirated movies, pirated music and our private pictures. Pirating is slowly dying with streaming being so cheap, and Plex always sucked for music anyway, and it sucked badly for photos, and then they took away the photo syncing that was extremely useful even if it did not work half of the time. And now they continue making crappier and crappier the photo library functionality. It is like they do not understand their customers.

With a NAS there are better alternatives now to upload photos, in a folder that the Plex library can track.

Meanwhile I do agree that improving the photo library view is most than desired. Personally I would appreciate an experience as in Apple Photos, without the need to pay for the cloud storage.
