I had to recently rebuild a new plex library of movies and television shows. Since I have scanned my library back in I have one season of an episode and one particular movie stay at the front of my recently added. I have added multiple new movies and even tv series, but the first recently added always remains the same. Can anyone help me with this?
Other people with the same problem solved it removing the movie from the library, wait until it’s cleared from Plex, then adding it back.
There are other possible solutions but this one is straight forward. After doing this, add another movie to the library and check if the problematic one goes to the second position.

Check the date/time stamp on the affected video files. They might show a date in the future.
All files affected are from the past. Just a glitch in the scanner or library when creating everything from scratch.
