I have seen users with the recently added video files on their front screen. But for some reason, mine does not. As suggested to me in another thread I did check that the "Include in dashboard" option was checked, and did a hard reset. But they still do not show up. They show up on every other device...iOS, Fire TV, PHT, but not xbone...
How do I fix this?

I have recently added in the front page, when I open the app, not when I go into a section, like you if i pick say TV shows, there is no recently added section, it starts with recently aired.
I really want to add recently added to my home screen. its a pain is the rear to go through and find something if it doesnt fall under any of the other categories. I know others have it, but I don't...I see them on every other device with plex, but not the xbox one.
Do all of you have "On Deck" set to 0 weeks in your server settings? I read somewhere that setting that option to 0 has the undesired effect of removing Recently Added from the Xbone app. I'm not at home so I can't troubleshoot myself, but may be worth trying!
To clarify, it's in the server settings under Library. Make sure you are Showing Advanced Options! I have Weeks to Consider set to 3.

I would like to know how to Refresh the XBOX ONE Plex APP to see newly added movie / TV, will there be a REFRESH button soon?
Example:
On PLEX server, I move over a few TV eposiodes and a movie... then fire up XBOX ONE PLEX APP... new stuff not there yet. - Go back to Plex Server and see it there after clicking Launch... go back to XBOX ONE.. still nothing. - Sometimes it takes up to 30 minutes for it to show under Recently Added... or On Deck. Wouldn't it be sweet if we had a way to force a REFRESH? Is this possible?

Best bet would be to close the app on the xbox one and reopen it, I believe it does a fresh scan when it opens. That means quitting the app with the options button on your controller, not just returning to your home screen and leaving the app running.
