Recieved a email regarding new plex version from buddymail ?

Hi,

Just want to confirm i just recieved a email from buddybuild for a new version of plex and i had to install a certificate as well. Just want to confirm this is legit ?

Yep, that’s legit. Buddybuild is the tool we use for beta testing :slight_smile:

i’ve tried the last update (built #4978). it’s supposed to support direct playback of alac files.
it’s not working. over 4G or wifi on local network.
it’s always transcoded to aac by PMS (last plexpass version). All my music is high rez .m4a (16 or 24 bits, 44,96 or 192 kHz)

Playback AND sync of ALAC is my n°1 priority on plex right now.

Same problem with PMS 0.9.16.1
