Recipients of shared libraries being asked to pay money

recipients of my shared libraries are being asked to pay money to watch a show that is in my library? i have never had this happen. this is a library that is my personal library on my server at home.

is this something new/actually the case? or is the recipient possibly going to the wrong place to watch the show?

So if I get the plex pass will the others who I shared my libraries with be able to access my personal media?

Yes.

If you have a Plex Pass, then others can stream remotely from your server for free. They do not need a Plex Pass or a Remote Watch Pass.
