Sharing my library with a friend

Hi,

I have the Plex lifetime pass.
I want to share my libraries with a friend.

I’m wondering if his free plex account is enought, of if he will have to pay a Plex pass in order to see contents I’m sharing with him.

No plex pass needed for sharing your library (or being on the receiving end of that).

When you’re sharing, your friend will benefit from some of your Plex Pass features linked to the server setup. Other features that require a personal/own Plex Pass will not be available to them (e.g. using the Plexamp app).
