Recommended MicroSD size for Raspex B+ Pi

Hi,

Building up a new B+ Pi (already happy with my B version RasPlex Pi)  and want to get the best bang for my buck. What size do you recommend for the MicroSD card?

I know the specs say at least 2GB but will extra storage make any difference?

Thanks

A 4Gb Class 10 MicroSD is sufficient, no point in spending money on storage as it won't be used.

Thanks for the prompt reply Ned. :)

Wanted to double check…is this still the rule of thumb?
4GB Class 10 MicroSD is still the recommended size for Raspberry Pi 2/3?

Many thanks!

That’s right.

4Gb cards are now harder to find that 8Gb. Both are fine though.

8GB cards are almost for free… its insane… 6$/5€ for a 8GB card… I bought a 16GB though… 12$/10€ …
