Reconnection issues when disconnecting from local network after New Experience upgrade

I use Custom server access URLs for remote access. With the new experience versions of the Plex Media Player. I receive an error stating my server has no base uri, followed by a timeout error trying to connect via plex.direct over port 32400 anytime I disconnect from my local network. It takes a significant amount of time for the connection to heal itself, and also causes the loss of the current watch progress, making any media being played start over from the beginning. The previous app would function without interruption if the media had an adequate buffer.

Server Version#: 4.145.1
Player Version#:2025.15.0

Purchase an Infuse Pro subscription. Which in turn has it’s own cavieats.

When the heck is this getting fixed, it is super annoying.

Seriously this is incredibly frustrating, how is this still not fixed.

Still not fixed in the new iOS release (2025.22.0). WTAF.

Hijacked another thread where an employee was responding with logs and detailed steps to reproduce, needless to say they’ve gone silent on the matter.

I hate to jink myself but I haven’t seen this on 2025.24.0.
