The Browse tab in Live TV & DVR is no longer showing an indication if a show or movie is scheduled to record.
All items also show a play button (which plays the channel it is on) rather than the record button they used to show which allowed easy scheduling of a recording when browsing.
Now to see if a recording is scheduled or to schedule a recording it is necessary to click on the item to bring up the details page.
Was this change intentional, or is this a bug? It makes scheduling recordings a lot more inconvenient.
Same version and problem here. Also Browse will not save the last setup for type of show, airing, release date, or name option. Has to be a bug as this is a great step backwards for the user interface.
Yes, the Record button disappearing is annoying and has also been reported elsewhere. The Browse Navigation issue though looks to have been fixed - presumably by the latest EPG update so a refresh looks to be needed.
I’m seeing the same problem. It appeared just in the last day or so, while I was still using 1.22.2 and remained when updated to 1.22.3, so I think maybe it’s a problem in the online Plex Web app rather than the local server version? Hope it’s fixed soon.
Out of interest, if I load up the old Plex Media Player, the recording indicator still shows.
I wanted to try the web app built into the local server, but for some reason can’t get that to open.
I’ve also noted with the online Web App that when Browsing movies by AirDate, the line underneath the poster showing the air date is now missing. After some fiddling around, I found that it can be restored by selecting to sort by AirDate option again, but it will go missing again sometimes (for instance if browsing Shows and then returning to Movies again). The problem seems to be related the “beginsAt” missing from the end of the browser address.
Not sure if I should I be starting a new topic about that??
In addition to the missing record button and indicator I’ve also just noticed that the By Airing sort option for movies is broken.
With episodes, when using the By Airing sort option, the sort order is changed to be by airing time and the airing time (or time remaining) is shown under the title.
With movies this option changes the sort order, but still only shows the release year under the title. To find the airing time you need to click on the movie.
Now Version Version 1.22.3.4523 on both windows and Linux server. Items to be recorded do not show record icon on Live TV and DVR on any sub categories. VERY annoying. So if you are looking for a new show tonight to record, you can’t just see if the show is set to record with the red record icon in the upper right of the show icon. To see if the show will record you have go to the three dots on the right bottom of the show icon to see if it set to record. VERY ANNOYING. This is all done in the web interface on a windows machine. The android interface will show the red record icon at the upper right of the show icon. Need these back on the windows web interface.
The issue would appear to have been fixed in the latest Plex Web version although I have commented that the Record indicator is not as obvious as before,
