I’ve been using Plex dvr since a while now and I have an issue with almost all my recordings. They contained visual artefact, glitches, encoding bugs that make all players (Xbox one and Android stream to chrome cast) to freeze for 10 to 30 secondes few times during the playback. I don’t know what cause this issue and I don’t no where to look at to start the investigation.
I downloaded the server log few times to look at the traces and found no evident signe of recording issues.
I run Plex on an Intlel NUC DC3217IYE with Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS 4GB of ram, 120GB SSD. The recordings are saved on an external WD My Passport Ultra that show no signe of issue and the DVR device is a HDHomeRun EXTEND.
All run the latest software/firmware revision.
