DVR Failed recordings

I’ve been experiencing a number of failed recordings and it seems to happen on certain channels, others are unaffected and complete without a problem, though I can’t be sure this is always the case.

I have the same issue on 2 servers, 1 running Win10 and the other a Mac Mini both are running Version 1.6.1.3722

I can view the channel via the HDHR Viewer and other programs, no problems with signal quality etc and capture a file with http://192.168.1.88:5004/auto/v70?duration=60

The error in Plex recording schedule says “There was a transcoder error”

Did you get anywhere with this? I have been having similar issues.

Subsequent server updates solved this particular problem for me, so I can’t help unfortunately.

Not that everything is working now but my issues have evolved - there always seems to be several issues at any one time with Plex DVR. Good luck.
