Recorded TV show episode visible in library in episode view, but not in TV show view

I am recording a couple of TV series via Plex DVR feature.

I stumbled upon a weird feature after recording the latest episode of the German TV show “Tatort” a few days ago.

I thought that the recording had been missed, but the file is there and when switching the recording library to “Episode” view, the recorded episode is there - ready to be viewed (see the blue Tatort poster below).

When changing the view back to TV show mode, the TV show “Tatort (1970)” is simply not there - invisible.

All other TV shows that were recorded are visible.
I already tried the option to re-read all library files, to restart the PMS… I updated the PMS to the latest beta.

I checked the recording setting to make sure that the recording went to the correct library:

And as I said, the file is there in the autoDVR-created structure alongside the other recorded TV shows/episodes… The library is used for recordings only.

It seems to be a bug.

I just started seeing the same thing this past week for the show Star Trek. The show is being recorded to the same folder as all the rest, but Plex doesn’t display it in the library with the rest of the shows.

One difference between these Star Trek episodes the rest of the shows is I manually setup individual episodes (in a marathon), while my other shows are series recordings. I can’t imagine how that would make a difference. The episode file names seem to be accurate.
