Recording +1 channels

Hi Guys, I’m currently in the process of trying to switch from EyeTV to Plex for all TV recordings but have hit a bit of an issue. A couple of times I’ve forgotten to set something to record until it has started, then realised and tried to set it to record on the +1 channel that shows the same programmes an hour behind the main channel. The issue I’m having is that the DVR decides to record the main channel not the +1 and as such the beginning of the show is missing from the recording.

Is there a way I can tell Plex to record the show on the channel I select rather than defaulting to the non +1?

Hi,
If you bring up the recording schedule, at the bottom left there is a button for advanced options

From here you can use the ‘Limit to Channel’ dropdown to specify which channel to record from

Great thanks paulsalter, didn’t notice that there! It’d be great if the developers would add this as an option to the DVR settings so we could default to this option…
