I have a series recording of a TV show. The other day, something weird happened with the EPG data and it when I refreshed it manually, it only ended up catching 2 minutes of my series recording. There was another one 2 days later, but no matter what I would do, I couldn’t get it to record that episode. It didn’t want to, because I had a series recording setup to only capture “New airings”, so it was no longer a new airing, and therefore it refused to record it.
Was I doing something wrong, or should I put in a feature request to allow me to record a show that was missed or deleted inside a “New airings” series recording?
Put in a feature request. When this was first in beta it allowed you to setup a separate recording for individual episodes and a season. Now you have to delete the new airings recording. Setup the individual recording. Setup the New Airings recording and both will record.
Thanks. I noticed this change as well. I bought the lifetime membership as soon as they announced the BETA for DVR so I’ve been using it for a while, but I assumed that I was just wrong with how I remembered it working before. I put in the request and linked it below.
