It would be great if we could use the Plex DVR to record commercial streaming channels on Roku. There sure are a lot of them and being able to record some of these shows in order to be able to skip the commercials would be excellent.
People talk about recording shows on the commercial-free streaming services, but I do not see the point. Forget about recording Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu (commercial free). Just provide us the ability to record the other streaming channels that still have commercials in them.
