It would be nice if you could mark commercial periods in DVR recordings and then have Plex automatically skip the commercials when watching that recording again. Or, better yet, have the Plex server modify the file to completely remove the commercial periods from the recording, which could be done immediately or as a scheduled task. Removing the commercials would also save a bit of recording space.
