Recordings do not complete.

About a week ago no recording will complete. Numerous appear in the Recording Schedule page with a circle with Red dot but never change to play or appear in the library. The machine is running current software on windows 7 with hdhomerun prime and cable card.

Same issue with Windows 10 and AverMedia card. Only fix is to restart the plex server but the recordings are deleted. Plex server version is 1.8.4.4249 and have restarted several times.

This has been a bug going on for a considerable number of releases. I got tired of all the missed recordings and just went out and purchased a Tivo Romio. It is a far more refined and reliable product than Plex DVR. Hopefully at some point Plex dev’s can flush out this bug and fix it but this is a show stopper and it doesn’t really seem to be a priority given the length of time this bug has been lingering.

Dropping back to 1.7.5.4035 I thought I had got it working for me so far but alas not. Works for some but then will fail to finish others.

I’ve tried 1.9.0.4252, 1.8.4.4249, and 1.8.1.4140 and they all exhibit the same behavior. I will have to find an earlier version to try.
