I have an NVIDIA shield PRO with a supported Hauppage WinTV-dualHD Dual Tuner USB. (Model 1590). Any video I record from none HD broadcast channels plays back in a weird ‘portrait’ aspect ratio in the Plex app on the Shield, Web view, Android and Roku apps . I can however adjust the video during playback in MX Player PRO and it looks fine. Where am I going wrong?
Hi, I’ve the same hardware (Nvidia Shield PRO and Hauppage WinTV-dualHD Dual Tuner USB 1590) and exactly the same problem with SD video recorded from TV: they appear in 4/3 aspect ratio but the same show in the Live TV mode has a 16/9 aspect ratio. In the XML file I’ve found this tag description: aspectRatio=“1.33”. Is there any solution to this problem?
