A few issues I’m encountering with this set-up
I’m not seeing any HD channels. I have no other devices using this feed so not sure if problem with the feed itself but wondered if others see similar
All recordings are 4:3 even though broadcast was 16:9, this means when I playback, it’s squashed into 4:3 & no way to force it to stretch in the app
Can’t see Freeview EPG when setting up so I’ve used Youview for now
I asked same question last week my win tv not finding any hd channels on shield, apparently a problem in uk with nvidia sheild and Hauppauge, homerun tuners not picking up hd channels. I am just waiting for some kind of update which will hopefully sort it out then I might use this feature, can’t see point at moment when I get better picture, service on regular tv. not sure how long this problem has been going on for? but I am hoping it is just issues as still in beta stage.
Has it been solved since? I got a WinTV solo card and when plugging it into my Shield, both the Plex app nor the Live Channels app were able to recognise the device 
Not for me!!! Reported to Plex a year ago and now being ignored…
