New here and stuck. I have a plex media server running well. I use PlexAmp on my phone mostly in the car over android auto. While Gemini will Play a song for me it will not queue so I built it. Gemini is still pretty closed off so I used what I could. I tell Gemini to Add “song” or artist or both to Queue “Add Raspberry Beret to Queue” it is really adding it to my google tasks which has a good API to hit. Then on my home server a python tasker app monitors that queue and processes it. It actually is working fast and well. No real issues on wifi but on Cell it gets tricky. My biggest issue is you cannot force a refresh on PlexAmp without being on wifi. When on cell and no Port 32500 nothing seems to work. I tried a lot of kluge fixes and nothing great. The queue will update when the song changes but I would really like to force it realtime. Also if you are on the last song and you add more then client will never continue as it does not know the server has more in queue. The best i cam up with so far is to have tasker on phone skip then go back which refreshes queue but puts you back at begin of song and then of course no real way I found to seek where you were. If anyone knows how to accomplish a queue refresh on cell please share. thanks so much.
