Reinstall and Not showing up on devices

Just re-installed plex and now it shows up on devices that have the Plex software installed, but not displaying on PS4 or my WDTV player where no plex software installed, but shows the Plex media server option to go into movies. Can anyone tell me which settings to tweak to get the server to show up?

On the server, from the web UI, ensure that the following setting is enabled:

Settings -> DLNA -> Enable the DLNA server

A recent server update changed the default for this setting to be disabled (unchecked).

thanks philip. just did it. dont understand why they would do that but hopefully it now discovers it. thanks.

They discovered a memory leak, I believe. And since Plex isn’t primarily a DLNA server, they disabled it by default in a recent server update.
