My Plex server has been behaving really strange the last couple of months/up to a year. It started with my big library for tv shows couldnt show the recommended page, it stated “Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred.” and nothing seems to fix that.
Tried to repair the database, it didnt fix anything.
After some updates ago the big main tv show library stopped showing up on the dashboard, my “continue watching” still shows up from that library but not recently added. I know there is some settings for just that but the other libraries have the same settings and they are working just fine.
PMS database has been moved from another install before.
Im just thinking that if i reinstall PMS, including the database and all the meta data it might just work. But i dont want to loose years of watch history for me and my friends.
Sorry for the long shitpost but…
Can i extract the watch history from the old database and put it in the new database? I dont want to copy the whole database to the new install because i dont want anything with the old stuff hindering the new stuff working correctly in the future.
