Reinstalled PMS, cannot successfully "claim server". Fails on every attempt

Have checked and installed latest version of PMS on localhost. Have turned off/on 4-digit password for admin. Admin account can’t see server or any media on local host or roku (same home network). My iphone logging in with admin account can see PMS and play files (same home network), son’s managed account can also see server and the 3 folders shared with him.

Both address formats on local host (http://localhost:32400/web/index.html AND :32400/web/index.html) give the same result. Logging in with admin account on local host and roku can see friend’s remotely shared server and play media files.

Suggestions?

Uninstalled and reinstalled Plex server. I can now see the server at http://localhost:32400/web, but it continually fails when attempting to “claim server”. I have logged out and back in to my admin account. Suggestions?
Current server version is 1.15.1.791, running on a Windows 8.1 (64bit) PC.

Have also tried logging in through http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/, but that also fails to claim server.

Just updated to 1.15.2.793-782228f99. Same results. Failed to successfully claim server.

I have the same problem. :frowning:
Running version 1.15.2.793 on synology nas.

Found the problem. I hade som trouble with the DNS on my NAS. After fixing that it all worked ok again. :slight_smile:

So make sure the plex server have network access.
